How are they made?
First, take a piece of cane and cut it, leaving it open on one side and closed on the other. Secondly, a hole is drilled to open the window of the mouthpiece next to the open end. Then, three or four holes are made in the lower part of the tube, all at the front, to give the different notes.

A wooden block is inserted in the mouthpiece and a recess made in the upper part to leave a channel for the air to pass through. A recess is then made in the lower part of the mouthpiece so that the player can place the lower lip. Finally, by making a recess next to the hole made for the mouthpiece window, the bevel is prepared so that the txulubita gives a good sound.

How are they played?
The mouthpiece is inserted into the mouth and blown, plugging and uncovering the holes to give simple melodies.
